As we built Orquidea del Sur, it was and is  

important to us to work with local artisans to create  and build the furniture, garden statues, fountains and art:

the carvings of Orquidea in the slate on the upper deck and in the cement behind the waterfall,

the creation of the metal orchids on each wall in the rooms,

the original hand drawn floral murals in each bathroom

the  hand carved wooden tables and chairs in the dining room,

the unique artwork adorning the walls,

the wicker furniture in the common area,

the full sized pool table,

the "elephantise" by the pool and upper whirlpool........

As we expand and our website grows we will set up locations for the artists to show there wares.
